Trail System
Durango Mesa Park features a growing network of trails designed for a wide range of users and experiences. The system includes Durango’s first downhill-only mountain bike trails, climbing routes, and the community’s first hiking-only trails, with many intentionally designed to be adaptive-capable for riders and trail users of varying ages and abilities. Downhill bike trails include jumps, berms, and progression-focused features, while the Meadow Hub serves as a central gathering space as the trail system continues to expand.

Durango Mesa Park offers Durango's first hiking-only trails with sweeping views of the La Plata Mountain Range, plus iconic vistas of the Animas Valley and surrounding landscape. These scenic routes are perfect for hiking, trail running, and exploring.
Hiking Only Trails
Durango Mesa Park has constructed two hiking-only trails, with more single-use trails planned for the near future.
Multi-Use Trails
All multi-use trails at Durango Mesa Park, excluding Mesa Knob Connector, are excellent for hikers and trail runners. Mesa Connector and Durango Mesa Park Connector to Crites are popular trail running routes.
Meadow Beginner Downhill, Mesa Connector and Durango Mesa Park Connector, the upper drop zone climb, and Train Tracks are all adaptive-capable trails for cyclists.
Meadow Intermediate Downhill is adaptive-capable for more experienced riders.

Durango Mesa Park will add a one-mile beginner level hiking-only trail from the base area, allowing hikers of all ages and abilities to access more hiking and multi-use trails at the park.
