Grading will be completed in 2026, establishing the foundation for trails, recreation areas, and future park amenities. This work also prepares the site for future vehicular access and parking as the park continues to develop. As grading is completed, hikers, bikers and runners will begin to see the future bike park and community gathering areas take shape across the mesa.

The Base Area will create an inclusive space designed to support riders and athletes of all abilities. Purpose-built features will provide safe, fun opportunities to build skills, confidence, and independence.

Accessible interior paths will connect the different features of the Adaptive Sports Park, making it easy for participants, families, and spectators to move throughout the space.Asphalt Pumptrack
The asphalt pumptrack will offer a smooth, flowing riding experience where users generate momentum through rollers and berms without pedaling. It’s designed for a wide range of riders, from beginners to advanced athletes.Kid Bike Playground / Strider Track
A dedicated bike playground and Strider track will give young riders a safe and playful place to learn balance and basic bike skills. This space helps introduce the next generation to cycling in a fun and supportive environment.Adaptive Area Skills Course
The adaptive skills course will feature carefully designed elements that allow riders using adaptive equipment to practice maneuvering, balance, and technical riding skills.Beginner Session Zone
The beginner session zone will provide a welcoming place for new riders to practice and build confidence in a low-pressure environment with approachable terrain and features. -
A new beginner hiking trail will connect directly from the base area, offering an easy one-mile route for walkers and families to experience the beauty of the mesa.

Work will begin on the Lower Bike Park Skills Zone, featuring three beginner trails along with a drop zone and dirt jump zone. This area will provide riders a place to practice skills, progress their riding, and have fun close to the park’s base area.
